Congratulations AKC CGC Participants

Congratulations to the 21 handlers and their dogs that earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen certificates at our annual Pot Luck and Agility and Rally Fun Run on June 27th. These handlers have worked hard to become responsible dog owners who are proud of their dogs that are well-mannered and confident in public. Most of these dogs have been in the AKC Companion Animal program since they began their training at MLF earning their AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy certificates before they became a year old. Many of these dogs will go on to train for the show ring in obedience and agility. Several dogs have the potential to go into Therapy work and now have passed their first requirement, the CGC test. Best of luck to all of you in your future canine endeavors.
